Most Anticipated Books of 2020

I can’t believe it, 2019 is almost over. I cannot wait to get my hands on all the incredible books that are due to be released at some point next year. Without further ado, here are some of my most anticipated books of 2020.

  • “All the Stars and Teeth” by Adalyn Grace
    • Release Date: February 4th, 2020
    • This sounds like an epic adventure and I’m so down for it! I love anything that deals with mermaids and pirates. There is magic and a fierce princess and… I don’t think I need to mention anything else.
  • “Of Curses and Kisses” by Sandhya Menon
    • Release Date: February 18th, 2020
    • Are you telling me this is “A Beauty and the Beast” retelling? For real?! OMG! 2020 will be an amazing year. I’m sure this will be a magical book with a fun and unique twist. Also, have I mentioned it is set at a boarding school?! I NEED IT ASAP!
  • “The Shadow Between Us” by Tricia Levenseller
    • Release Date: February 25th 2020
    • This book is giving me “Once Upon A Time” vibes. I’m so happy this book is coming out at the beginning of the year. I feel like this book will finally give a happy and romantic ending to evil characters. I’m sure the Evil Queen approves *evil laugh*
  • “Eight Perfect Murders” by Peter Swanson
    • Release Date: March 3rd 2020
    • This suspense was written for every book lover. It revolves around books and it has such a clever plot. I seriously cannot wait for it to come out. I pray that it will meet my expectations and make me an even bigger fan of mysteries and thrillers.
  • “The Kingdom of Back” by Marie Lu
    • Release Date: March 3rd 2020
    • A standalone historical fantasy about Mozart’s sister?! OH YES! I love stories that combine magic and history.
  • “Girl, Serpent, Thorn” by Melissa Bashardoust
    • Release Date: May 12th, 2020
    • A fairy tale featuring a brave princess and a curse? Sign me up! I’m sure it would be an amazing retelling and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. The cover is absolutely gorgeous! I have heard that this book is inspired by Persian Mythology and that just makes me more intrigued.
  • “By the Book” by Amanda Sellet
    • Release Date: May 12th 2020
    • I’m so looking forward to May 12th! Between the cover and the synopsis I have such high expectations. I’m sure the story will be fun and romantic.This is the perfect book for book lovers.
  • “Seasons of the Storm” by Elle Cosimano
    • Release Date: June 23rd, 2020
    • Ok, ok, ok… what is going on with these book covers?! why are they so BEAUTIFUL!!! This book has such a unique and amazing plot. It sounds so magical and a total recipe for success. It features a romance between the Winter and Spring seasons. Two star-crossed lovers who I’m sure will fight against all odds to keep their love alive. *sighs* I can’t believe I have to wait until June.
  • “Star Daughter” by Shveta Thakrar
    • Release Date: August 11th 2020
    • A book about the daughter of a star and a mortal. Inspired by Hindu Mythology. Stunning Cover. Do I need to give you more reasons to be extremely excited for this book?!
  • “Blood & Honey” by Shelby Mahurin
    • Release Date: September 1st, 2020
    • This is the sequel to “Serpent & Dove” which was one of my favorite books of 2019. I can’t wait to read about Louise and Reid again. Their relationship is goals. September cannot get here fast enough! (If you want to know a little more about the first book, make sure to check out my review.)
